Sustainability & Ethical Production.

We strive to adhere to more sustainable practices. Actively contributing to positive social and environmental outcomes, we focus on ethical production, crafting sustainable products, and engaging in initiatives like on-demand shopping, eco-friendly packaging and Carbon emission offsetting.

On-Demand Shopping

Stand with us against fast fashion and embrace our made-to-order ethos. We prioritise sustainability by crafting each product only when it's ordered, eliminating waste and excess inventory. With this commitment, we not only reduce our environmental footprint but also ensure that every piece is made with care and purpose.

Eco-Friendly Materials

When it comes to our materials, we take an extra step by using eco-friendly recycled EVA for our sandal footbeds. By repurposing materials that would otherwise end up in landfills or oceans, we're not only reducing waste but also lessening our environmental impact. This innovative approach allows us to create comfortable and durable sandals while minimizing our carbon footprint.

Ethical Labor Practices

It's more than business for us; it's about uplifting our artisans and their communities. With every purchase, a portion of proceeds directly goes to these talented individuals. Moreover, our artisans receive base wage three times higher than industry norms.

Plastic-Free Packaging

We're proud to use packaging that is 100% plastic-free. With eco-friendly packaging that minimizes our carbon footprint while still protecting your purchase. Our commitment to sustainability extends to every aspect of our product, including how it's packaged.

Offsetting Carbon Emissions

Liberté is part of DHL's Go Green initiative that reduces main haul carbon emissions by using sustainable marine and aviation fuels (SAF). The renewable portion of the fuel is produced from waste oils, and SAF from waste and residues can reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 80% over its life cycle compared to conventional jet fuel.
