Liberté is part of DHL's Go Green initiative that reduces main haul carbon emissions by using sustainable marine and aviation fuels (SAF). The renewable portion of the fuel is produced from waste oils, and SAF from waste and residues can reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 80% over its life cycle compared to conventional jet fuel.
